Goderya elected to board of Ernestine's Women's Shelter

Toronto commercial and personal services lawyer Seher Goderya – who is dedicated to helping women and children fleeing from domestic violence – was recently elected as a director on the Ernestine's Women's Shelter Board. Goderya, a lawyer practising with Basman Smith LLP, says she connected with the charity through the Maytree Foundation in 2014, and was immediately inspired by the great service provided by the shelter. The 32-bed shelter, based in Etobicoke, is a haven for women and children fleeing violence, and it helps them rebuild their lives by linking them with a range of support services.
